Land and sea
The Côte du Goëlo's location is between Saint-Brieuc and Paimpol and offers various and exceptional landscapes of fine sand beaches, and cliffs. You will discover them, driving through the access to the numerous beaches, or treking by the "customs officers path" (GR. 34), which offers great panoramic points of view. Saint-Quay-Portrieux's port and Binic's one propose nautical activities and fishing at sea. the (back) countryside is to be visited for an authentic and preserved nature and an architectural heritage. Binic and Saint-Quay-Portrieux are with Étables sur mer well known seaside resorts. Tréveneuc which is a small land city with a remarkable cliff coast and coves welcomes visitors in splendid natural sites. Plourhan and Lantic, are “inland”, and it is very pleasant to stay here it in rural, valleys and forest landscapes. To visit the Sud-Goëlo is a way to receive a range of varied pleasures, it always happens something as local entertainments (often free), and people's associations invite all year long to local feasts, they also make the inheritance live, expose and invite to famous Fest-noz with Danserien ar aod, or Bagad san ké and its dancers, you will also be helped to participate to the dance. Here it is a country of storytellers (for kids and adults), a country of entertainers, with the “marionnettists from Binic" and traditional artists with our many sailors songs singers who perpetuate the tradition of the cod fishing to Iceland. It is quite pleasant to come here with the autumn, in winter and at spring to share with us the profit from the nature, to take time to meet , to visit the farms and be a partner in the local festivals. To stay here it is an opening towards further horizons close with Plouha's cliffs, the town of Paimpol, the island of Bréhat, and a little further beyond the goëlo, towards Trégor the "pink" granite coast. Visit the Sud-Goëlo and share with us a way of life.
